Hi All -
Well - have I got some news for you. Today, not one but TWO of our neighbors said that Chase was:
1. A Good Dog, as in "Boy, is he ever a good dog."
2. Super Sweet
3. Adorable, Cute
I ran into my neighbor Karen on her morning jog. She stated, like everyone does, "Hey, you got another one?" and "What happened to the other/grey guy?" (More on the "grey guy" later). Chase walked up to her and let her love on him. He did not jump on her. Hooray!! She kept saying how cute he is - maybe I'm biased, but, boy howdy, is he ever! The whole time we walked together he walked soo nice on the leash.
After we got home we were talking with our neighbor across the street and he was just amazed at what a good dog Chase is. He never left the yard and just laid down at our feet and took it all in.
He also said that our fostering was such a great thing. Although he kind of wondered out loud about "how hard it would be to give them up." No, not so much. I know he is going to a good home when he goes.
One last thing and I've got to help Kiera find her library book. I've paid for so many library books because of this kid I can't have one more. Will they take away her card?
You can now follow Chase's adventures on Twitter - whoo hoo. Whether he is on a walk or chasin' baby bunnies in the front yard, you'll know! Just click on the "follow me" in the middle of the right hand side of the blog - You know, it's just below section with the Fluffy Dog Application (Click on Fluffy to see the application).
That's all the news that's fit to print, as they say. Hope you have a chance to go outside and enjoy our long awaited Wisconsin Summer - Hooray!
PS - John, our neighbor across the street was also startled to notice that even tho Chase is part lab and part border collie, which given that mix should be bouncing off the wall crazy, he is remarkably calm and well mannered. So, I guess if you're holding back on your application because you are concerned that he is crazy, hold back no more. The application is right here. C'mon, he's nine months old today. The boy needs a permanent home.
