New Friends at The Lodge

Cameron - Duncan has been found and is living a wonderful life inside with only one other dog. No more sharing the food bowl with 37 other. Yikes.

Last night, We received a transport from Alabama with the newest Lodgers on it. Shaggy, also known as George and Woofie will also get a new name of Sadye.

Shaggy George, big fluffy black dog (of unknown heritage) and Miss Woofie Sadye, smaller, but much prettier yellow dog of Poodly (?) heritage got a bath and a mini groom at Tail Waggin Doggy Daycare last night. 

After that, they got a ride to The Lodge, fought coming in the house, freaked out-ish over the laminate floors (so we moved a lot of rugs and dog beds), had some dinner, pottied outside and went to bed. 

They had had a pretty long day and they were wiped.

This morning, we've already been to the dog park and run around in the cold. I can tell you that they loved it!!!  They are now quite exhausted and will probably sleep the day away.

Shaggy George is more outgoing and a little protective (and double her size) of Miss Woofie Sadye. He's a big old friendly dog but WoW, can he run at the dog park!! WaHoo.  Miss Woofie Sadye is a lot shyer but she too loved the cool air whippin' through her blond curls as she raced around the dog park.
