Shaggy George and Woofie Sadye arrived in Wisconsin late Sunday afternoon. Since their arrival, they have, been groomed-ish, had baths, more grooming and moved to The Lodge.
Shaggy George is NOT a big fan of my laminate floors. If he would just get over it, he would discover that he can actually walk on them. But, for now, we have convenient paths through the kitchen to the crates.
I think they are housetrained. However, neither one is a big fan of being in the house and would much prefer to be outside racing around in the leaves. I cant wait to see what they do with the snow.
We've been to the dog park twice now and that, THAT they LOVE with a capital L.O.V.E. Woofie Sadye is a little shyer than her big brother but that little girl is nuts!! at the dog park. She runs, she jumps, she chases Denali. She also likes to jump on me and chew on my fingers to say thank you! (They are not painful chews just little nibbles. Shaggy George does the same thing.)
Today, when we were getting ready to leave for the park, Shaggy George jumped with his front feet in the car and I lifted him the rest of the way. When we left, Woofie Sadye jumped right in the car.
If you are looking for an instant pet, either one of these two Fluffies would be a good choice. Both are quite sweet and affectionate. Shaggy George could probably pull a cart.
More pictures coming soon!
Thank you for thinking Rescue. Thank You for reading!
