Seeing Double.

If you've only known me for a minute, you'll know that my favorite dog breed is the Labrador Retriever. I grew up with Black ones but any old Lab is my favorite. 

Who can resist their sweet sweet sweet personalities or their ability to want to run more and more and more even after a trip to the dog park?

Little Chardonnay Olive has an application - YaY! She is also such a sweet heart.

As you know, we have Cabernet aka Belle/Bella. Connor, my son, knew that she had a sister who needed a foster family so he made some commitments and he'll be honoring those until Miss Chianti Andi finds a furever home. 

My facebook family has been pestering me to put up photos. I tried to get good one but both dogs are about 8 mos old and very wild girls. Cabernet/Bella is a little more settled than her sister only because she's been here at The Lodge for three weeks. Chianti Andi will get there too. 

Cabernet Belle has more white and she is a lighter brown. She has white front paws and is just a smidge smidge smaller than her sister.

Chianti Andi is all brown with just a tiny blaze of white on her chest. She is a gorgeous dark chocolate brown. Of the two, I think she is more Labbie looking. She is a slightly larger dog but not big by anyone's definition. Ok maybe those folks with the little fluffies would say she's large. 

They are about 40# a piece. If you want a buddy to run run run and run some more with, pick one - either one. If you want somebody to snuggle with on these chilly pre-winter nights, pick one. At this point, Cabernet - Belle is more cuddly, no that's a lie. She is cuddlier with me. Chianti - Andi is more cuddly with my kids. She also seems to like smaller children (over six please).

Either one's a winner. Do you want your Labbie with or without socks?

Or you could look at their collars. Cabernet has the pink collar with the black tag and Chianti has the green collar with the blue tag.
