In Hockey that's a Hat-trick!

So I looked up hat trick on Wiki-pedia and it said...

hat-trick or hat trick in sport is the achievement of a positive feat three times or more during a game, or other achievements based on threes. The term was first used in 1858 in cricket to describe HH Stephenson's feat of taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. A collection was held for Stephenson, and he was presented with a hat bought with the proceeds.[1] The term was used in print for the first time in 1878.[2] The term was eventually adopted by many other sports including association football, water polo, and team handball, but did not become popular in North America until the mid-1940's in the National Hockey League.

So, there you go.

At The Lodge when you have three dogs that go home in a week, that's pretty awesome too! I could come up with a clever name relating to dogs, etc but hat-trick works pretty good.

Here you go. Congrats to Mr. Sonic, whom I dont think I even posted any pictures of here on the blog, who went to his furever home today.

He is going to be living with his mom and dad near Madison. They are "nature" folks like us and will take Sonic on all sorts of camping and hiking adventures.

All right!

We're going to hold the number of dogs at The Lodge to four for a while. I'm hoping not to take any more dogs on until after Lucky Jim goes home. Miss Alyx / Lexi is here too and she needs a furever home.

She's a pretty sweet little cuddler. Not quite as wild as her brother Sonic and not nearly as shy as her sister Hilda Macy but she is jusssssssssssst right.  I've got a bunch of pictures on my camera. I'll see if I cant figure out some time to get them off for you to see.

Thank You for Thinking Rescue! Thank You for Reading!
