And Now for Some Thank Yous!

The tree has been taken down and put back in its little place in the basement and all of the presents are tucked away in drawers or in kitchen cabinets (you should see the fabulous mug I got - It kept coffee hot for six hours - HOT - Like I had to wait to drink it for another hour).

From the bottom of our Fluffy Hearts to the tip of our Fluffy Tails, we'd like to say a very kind thank you for your generosity and caring this holiday season.  Eric Eck from the Doggy Bag in Downtown Oconomowoc created a "home brew" for doggies and sells the bottles in his store.  Each bottle sold, he donates a portion of the sale to rescue.  He also collected a box-o-toys for dogs in need at his store. If you've not been there, please take a trip over.  There's a little something for every dog owner and dog in your life! Collars made of seat belts with seat belt buckles. Bowls, leashes, toys, toys and more toys.  Clothes for dogs and people.  And homemade baked goods for Fido and Fido only.  Sorry, not for people.  Oh, and you can bring Fido too.  Here is the link - http://www.thedoggybagllc.com/ to his website. (You can even "like" the store on Facebook for more fun and pictures) -  His store is located in downtown Oconomowoc for those of you who live nearby.  For those of you who are out of town but would still like some home baked treats or toys for your Fluffy, you can place an order and have it delivered to your home via the usual methods.

Here are some cute little urchins who I recruited to help me with the presents at The Doggy Bag.

Thank you for your generosity!

A couple of bottles of "Give a Dog a Home Brew" - YUM!!!

In addition to the gifts from our friends at The Doggy Bag, Fluffy Dog Rescue received some very toasty warm jackets from some friends of Wilma-Karmajane. Like any girl, she loves clothes, really she does!  However, now we just wish it would get cold enough so she can wear them.  Thank you for the fun togs, Ella Blue and Delilah!  We're looking forward to cold weather even more now!!

There's a squirrel over there in the neighbor's yard - I'd really like to go chase it!

Can we go outside now, Mom. How 'bout now? Now?  I just can't stay still. Can we go outside? Can we? Can we?

Again, thank you to Eric and all of our friends at The Doggy Bag in Downtown Oconomowoc.  Thank you to Delilah & Ella Blue, the Great Danes that Wilma-Karmajane plays with at my Centrally Located Office for Barking.

In other news ... Fuzz-Trooper now has three weeks under his collar.  One more to go and he's a free man.  This past week he's really come around and is more like his old self.  Well, more like the guy who originally came to Wisconsin a month ago. He really wants to play.  He's been eating like a starved dog and he's actually putting on some weight.  We've got his little parasite condition under control and things have firmed up all around.

Wilma-Karmajane is getting better and better and is trusting more and more.  She is forgetting to be afraid which is very good.  I took her to work with me yesterday and she let my co-workers love on her and check her ears, teeth and paws!

Hooray!

Happy New Year!

(Did you get your app in for Fuzz-Trooper yet?)

PS - Do you like the blog?  You'll love the book - Coming soon to an e-reader near you!
