Census is UP at The Lodge

So there we were. A week with only three dogs in the house.  It wouldnt be long before we were back up to our four dogs.

On Sunday the fourth dog arrived to complete our canine quartet.  I was a bit apprehensive as Wilma-Karmajane can be a bit snarky with new dogs, especially in her car.

All that worry was for naught as the new guy fits in pretty well around here.  Little Coal is 35# soaking wet,  is five months old, is housetrained, is fixed, is up-to-date on all his shots, is heartworm negative and is ready for a home.

If you are a first time dog owner looking for a dog for your family, this is your boy.  As he is only five months old, he should only be left alone for no more than five hours at a time to provide successful training.  Also, he will have longer hair as he grows and probably not the best doggie for you allergy sufferers.

Wilma-Karmajane has taken puppy under her "wing" and plays with him the way a good aunti should.  She lays on the ground when they wrestle and doesn't let things escalate to a point where she would get too forceful.

I'm tellin' you - get your app in quick.  He wont last long friends.

I havent taken any pictures yet but Julie, another Fluffy Volunteer has.  Would you like to see??

Awww... he's just as sweet as he is cute.  Oh, I gotta go, he's trying the humpty-humpty dance on Wilma-Karmajane.  That'll never fly.
