Thank You

Dear Fluffy Friends -

I received this email from Laura Holloway who runs the SEMO Rescue in Missouri.  You may recall earlier that I had posted about sending in a donation if you were able.  Many people sent in donations and if you were one, thank you from Laura and all the dogs that she saves.

"Hi Everyone,



I have to let you know that your donations are much more then the chip in shows.

Some have sent donations directly to the vet and I don't have your info to thank you...please let me know who you are so I can.


To everyone that has donated a "HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR Hearts TO THE TIP OF OUR DOGS TAILS." We have paid the VET bill down to $1600. which is terrific.!!!


Donations are still coming in so maybe we will be able to pay it off by next week. I could thank you over and over but you will never know what this means to us and how many animals you helped save with your donations.


(Hundreds by the way..yes hundreds of dogs will be saved because we are still able to take dogs in)

Flea and tick season is here . We took in two dogs today with many blood engorged ticks on them and fleas..one dog has 7 newborn puppies...we can't even treat her so Sarah hand pulled the ticks. I dread flea and tick season....it is expensive to keep them flea free and to prevent heart worms when you take in as many as we do. Again you make it possible.


We have 31 dogs leaving on the transport Sat April 16 th...made possible by YOU..and your donations. We will take in that many and more in the next couple of weeks..I already have a waiting line to get into our rescue. Dogs from Animal Control to be saved, dogs being re homed by their owners, one who has cancer and can't take care of her dogs now. It never ends as all of you know. The dogs and cats just keep on coming. Sadly so, we all do what we can.
