Enough Already, He's Perfect!

Well, (Not Quite) Fluffy Fans, I've got nothing left to write about our buddy. He's perfect! He's housetrained. He's got puppy energy but then settles right down after a walk. He's oh-so-lovable and cuddly and he love, love, loves "mama time". Look at this picture of him and some little kid...who just happens to be in a lot of my pictures. (He's also a contortionist!)

He also gets along well with my dogs and other dogs too! Our friend Judy went to Missouri to visit her family and it was not the kind of trip that you take your fluffy doggie along. We were in charge of the 2:00p - 3:00p shift to take their dog, Mia, out for a walk. I decided that Mia could use some playtime with my kids and dogs so we brought her back to our house.

"WHO? IS? THAT??"
It's Mia! (and my toes!)

Pretty Girl! (No, not for adoption - Judy's kids would scream!)

Man's Best Friend

So friends, I really don't mind keeping this little boy for a while. When I say little, he's little by my standards. I grew up with Labs. They were always 70 - 85 pounds. So now I have little Te'a who doesn't even hit 60 # - she is 59.7. Our buddy Chase is 40 pounds if he's a hundred. He fits perfectly in your lap, your arms, your car and probably your canoe or boat. He doesn't fit so good in the water tho - He's not a swimmer...yet. We'll try and correct that before too long unless of course, Furever Family you're ready to put in your application....

So sweet!
I was watching some video I took of the dogs wrestling the other day and Chasey walked into the computer room. He honestly stopped in his tracks...
"Did you hear sum-fun?"

"Hey! Dat's ME!"

He has a couple favorite toys. This nasty slipper of the kids seems to be the favorite for the last couple of days. Luckily I got two when I bought it. (Ok - it's a slipper - they came in a pair.)

YUM!
There you have it. The perfect dog just waiting for you. Oh, so cute and cuddly. Kristin thought about and decided that is she were as crazy as me she would take him. They have a Golden Retreiver named Mickey - I bet these two would..."Mickey Mouse" around all day and "Chase" all over the house.
But that's ok...like I said... I don't mind keeping this one for a while. He fits right in with our pack.

Did I mention that he likes toys? Old slippers, Nyla Bones & Galileos, Beef Bones, Chewy ropes, chewy knots, tennis balls.... You'll notice that we don't have stuffed animals. They don't last long around here. First go the squeakers and then the fluff and then they rip off the appendages - oh, the horror. Oh, the MESS! (There's a Frog Leg as evidence under Chase's left hind foot!)

"I has ALL DA TOYZ."

"And Dat's de TRUTH - Phhhht!"

Miss Mia would like to again extend her thanks for a lovely afternoon of fun. She thinks Chase is the best cousin anybody could ask for! (I personally think she has a crush on him!)

In the last pic, Chase seems to have a teeny-tiny little hammer lying so innocently next to him. Are you sure he's not going to use it on a cat? And he's not going 'naner naner poo-poo'?

Actually... the cat had the hammer and he was just about to conk the dog on the head when the dog looked up, smiled a cheesy smile and the cat ran off, freaked out! But yes, the "naner naner" would be correct!
