Look Ma!! No Tears!!

(Ok - Kristin and Judy - whoever had money on me NOT crying a gallon of alligator tears, take your winnings from the other)

HIP HIP HOORAY - JACK WENT TO
HIS FUREVER HOME TODAY!!

Ok - so I did shed a couple itty bitty tears, but come on, who wouldn't? Did you see that dog? He is adorable and oh, so smart!

Jack has a new home in Waukesha County and still within visiting distance. He's packed up the toys he got from Santa and his beddy and he's moved in with Ellie, Greg and their Welsh Terrier Rowdie (hope I spelled all ok).

Now, I've never met a Welsh Terrier before so this was kind of fun for me. After we locked the BIG doggies upstairs Greg brought in Jack's new brother so we could all be sure they would get along. Greg had told us that Rowdie looked like a smaller version of an Airedale Terrier. Ok - I'm thinking Casey and Cody only smaller. I think that Casey and Cody probably weigh in the 70# plus range - I'm not sure, I've never asked them.

Wow - was I surprised. I'm expecting something bigger. Naw. Rowdie is about 35# soaking wet with a wet towel around his body. He actually kind of...in a lively sort of way...looks like a stuffed animal, only just a little bigger and with bark.

Greg left Rowdie's leash on so we could have a little control but once it was clear to all that there would be no issues, we turned 'em lose on each other. I'm pretty sure we've got a pretty good fit with this family because well....well...see for yourself.....

There's Jack's belly - that's a good sign!

Here's that one with a close up!

They're in for so many awesome adventures....

As Greg & Ellie and their "pack" were leaving, they told us thank you for taking Jack in and loving him 'til his furever family showed up. I put a little bug in their ears and said, "You know, once things settle down and Jack settles into your house, you could foster too!"

It took us four years to foster after we brought Mocha home from her foster family. We'll see...
Love ya, Jack!

(I know, what's not to love, riiiiiieeeght?)

Here's a Noogie for Jack!!
