So, I will type again. Not as wordy but none-the-less informative.
Jack had a great New Year's Eve. We celebrated with our very good friends who brought along their kids - ages 5 - 11. Jack was amazing with all of them. He loved on them without being too pushy and responded well when they told him NO.
Jack also adapted really well to more new people. We really aren't big partiers (anymore :)), just worked out that way this year. We had Scott's fam here on Christmas Day, my fam on Saturday and our good friends last night. Jack did really well with everyone - young or older. He was so calm with the whole procedings that he laid down in the middle of the kitchen floor and took a...ummm...."cat nap". After 25 - 30 winks he'd get up and check to see if any shrimp morsels had fallen to the floor. No such luck, Alabama Jack. Even with your beauty brown eyes and backwards growing facial hair, you're not getting my snacks!
Some of you may have noticed a hold on Jack aka Bryer. No, it's not like at the pet store when they put on "hold" on a tank because the fish have "ich". No, no, Jack is alive and well and moving on to the next step in his little Fluffy Dog life. There has been an application put forward for Jack - HOORAY!
I don't know names or any details just that there is a family who is interested in adopting Jack (or Bryer). I'm happy and sad and happy but sad 'cuz I will miss his little fluffy face hangin' 'round my house. So if Jack's prospective family is out there, please feel free to contact us using the numbers that were provided by the rescue. We should be home today but if you call and we're not answering, please call the cell number.
I have a whole bunch of pictures that I want to post for this posting but am afraid to crash the blog again and lose the whole crazy mess - rrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So I'm just going to do a few. Maybe I'll send the rest on to another foto website and you can look there
Here is Mr. Enthusiasm at the Height of the New Year's Celebration last night.....
Followed closely by Te'a who usually goes to bed at 8:00pm every night....She's not goin' to bed - she doesn't want to miss anything...
An Mocha, well, she'll just curl up and go to sleep anywhere. When it's time to sleep, it's time to sleep....
I took a few more snaps late one night of Jack as he was already in evening guard mode. He likes to sleep at the top of the stairs to keep out the "Flyin' Purple People Eaters"
"Did you hear that?? I think it was the 'one-eyed, one-eared, flyin' purple people eater - be ready!! "
"Nope, Just the cat. You may pass. Call off the guards. Stand down."
So if you're livin' in your big ole' house worryin' at night about the "One-Eyed, One-Eared, Flyin' Purple People Eaters" get yourself a Fluffy Dog. He (or she) will lay somewhere in your house and provide you protection from all things that go bump in the night. I've provided a link to more Fluffy Dogs Available for Adoption at the top of this page followed closely by a link to the Fluffy Dog Application process.
At Your Service....
Just Jack!
