Fluffy Cleaning

It's the most wonderful time of the year. You shop, you bake, you get your husband to wrap the gifts you spent hours shopping for and you clean.

I'm having Christmas this year. My side of the family is coming over this weekend for some turkey and Chex Mix.

I figured I would do some cleaning today. Used the vinegar on the coffee maker after lighting four candles in three different rooms to counteract the smell - ewwwwwwww. It works like a dream - all lime free now. I cleaned up the kitchen. I cleaned the bathroom downstairs but will have to make a few more passes before everyone comes over.

The living room is a bit neglected and therefore a bit dusty. I went to the closet and got out my handy dandy little swiffery things that someone used the fluffy things but I am unable to locate the handles. No matter.

I started my dusting. Lookin' Good. Got to a shelf and had to clear the candle, not burning, off of it, set the fluffy thing down and got distracted - Like that doesn't happen ALL the time.

I was across the room stacking books in a bookshelf before I realized what my little Fluffy Helper and his Smooth Operator were up to......

Yes, yes it is stuck to his beard...

Apparently, Te'a wasn't doing something right..although I have no idea what that would be. It earned her an "earful" as my mother used to say:

So if you need help cleaning your house this Holiday Season, don't call Jack. But if you're totally in love with him and interested in adopting him and you bring him home to your house, use the fluffy swiffery thingy while he's outside playing with the kids.

Oh, and Yes, he likes to sit on the footstool. If only I could teach him to recite "The Night Before Christmas" then I would have something.

Oh, and if you're wondering further...Jack is still wonderfully and completely housetrained.

Leah just had asked me today about the flagpole thing. I am NOT telling her about this one!

PS> I'll think about the cleaning crew, hoping the pizza thief might be good at it....
