As Promised...Midnight

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Midnight is also available for adoption. Her foster mom sent along a little note and a cute little picture of Midnight.

Midnight is a little sweetheart. She is very loving and loves to snuggle and have her belly rubbed. In the short time she has been here she has learned sit, lay down, {vocal or hand command} off, and up. And she is well on her way of listening to the stay and come command. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play.

She is a wonderful little girl and deserves a family to call her own. Come meet her and she will melt your heart.

I've heard from our Director who said that Midnight will be a year old in March.

So there you have it or rather have her. You can see from the pic that she's not really big. Maybe 45 or 50 pounds. I'm thinking that since she is part labrador she'd be a good retriever - heck - there's NO lab in Jack and he's a great retriever. But back to Midnight - I couldn't say for sure but probably with some training someone could take her out hunting. She's a perfect size for your boat, your truck, and just look at that picture, she's perfect for your lap too!!

She was at my house for several hours one day and she is so sweet and loves kids - mine are 11 and 7.

What? This is Jack's blog you say? There should be at least one new picture of Jack that noone has seen yet? So glad you asked...

You're thinking that this is a very thoughtful picture of Jack. He's wistful...thinking of some other time...warmer weather in Alabama perhaps...no, through the magic of technology, here is what Jack was thinking...

"Ok, so I weigh 40, 45 pounds. The counter is 4 feet high. If I take a running leap from the couch in the other room, I should be able to get on the table then jump to the counter and land face first into both bowls of warm, just out of the oven, yummy goodness of Chex Mix...yeah....Oh, wait - wasthatacat?!!"
