So just about 10 days ago, Carey blew into our house and last night, after being on Fluffy Dog Rescue Petfinder pages for eight months - YES, EIGHT MONTHS - She went to her furever home.
All I can say is that when the right family is ready for a dog, everything falls into place.
She is going home to her mom and dad and brother, Baggers, a shih tzu - bischon mix.
Mom and Dad own property that overlook the Mississippi River in Southwestern Wisconsin. They were looking forward to taking Carey Ann up this weekend.
Hooray!!
