Cone of Shame

Albert Tiger has a little chewing problem. Well, it's not so much chewing alone as much as chewing and swallowing. See, he ate some pieces of a soft toy and also bit off several chunks of a puppy teething, oh and he played Italian dinner with a rug in the backseat of my car that I put there to keep the muddy paw prints off of the upholstery.

Scott took him Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Service yesterday, yes the Emergency Vet over in Waukesha.

They did an initial evaluation but could not determine anything as he was so dehydrated. After several hours on an IV they knew there was an obstruction and they had to perform surgery before they lost him.

Fast forward 24 hours and add the Cone of Shame, and Albert-Tiger is home and looking sharp, stoned,  better. His tail is wagging and he's up and around. And bumping the cone of shame into everything.

Here's a couple of snaps.

Awww.

Can I ask just a tiny favor? I know that it's almost Christmas and you probably have a lot of gifts to purchase, but do you have a couple of extra tens or maybe just a "fin", you could send Albert-Tiger's way. See, his surgery to unstick the blockage was about $2,500.

We could use a little help as we are a private rescue.

If you visit our website, you can click on the donate button (but there is a 3.5% charge to do so). I'm asking if you could, I know its a pain, to do it the old fashioned way. In an envelope through "snail mail".

The address is:  Fluffy Dog Rescue, W295 N8437 Camp Whitcomb Rd., Hartland, WI 53029

Here is the link to the website too: http://rescue.fluffydog.net/Donations_fundraisers.html

Thank You.
