The Revolving Door at The Lodge Keeps Going Round

Sigh.

The weather is cruddy - It's damp and still a little foggy here in southeastern Wisconsin.  The snow is all melted and it looks like April. Only trouble is, its only February 3 - UGH.

But I guess its ok because the weather kind of matches the mood around here.  The kids are bummed, dare I say mad, because they had to say goodbye to Fuzz-Trooper-Cooper in the parking lot at school. They got in a fight with each other even before we got in the car to leave for school.

Even if they are mad about the way it happened, they understand.  Fuzz-Trooper-Cooper is moving a couple hours away and his new family would rather not be driving around a strange city in the dark.  They understand that.

They also understand that even though one leaves, there's always another waiting to drop their bags here at The Lodge temporarily.

Wilma-Karmajane is here too.  Kiera commented this morning how WKJ has outlasted so many other dogs - Harley-Teddy, Hope, Stoli, Lucky-Coal, Trooper. Wow, didnt realize it was five until I just typed them all out. Her time is coming.  The right family for her just wasnt ready for her yet.

So, Fuzz-Trooper-Cooper will be going home later today. I'm excited for him and his new family.  His mom wants him to help her and wants him to become a Therapy Dog.  So Awesome!  (Just like our tiny 130# buddy Will is going to be a Therapy Dog too)

Tomorrow before we go to Central Bark for Breakfast Club, I will be picking up Miss Wynne-Laurel for what will hopefully be a brief, brief stay at The Lodge.  She is an eight month old puppy - maybe some sort of Shepherd mix, maybe a Terrier Mix.  Who knows? She's black and tan and cute and sweet!

Are you coming for Breakfast Club? We will be at Central Bark Doggy Daycare in Sussex from 10 - 12.  Come on over and play!

Thanks for reading!  Gotta go, Fuzz-Trooper-Cooper is barking at squirrels through the patio door.  Oh, dear!
