Meet Wynne-Fiona!

Ok, I know I've been telling you that Wynne-Laurel was coming to The Lodge.  Turns out, she was being called Dolly at her previous foster.  Oh. I can't call her Dolly. My niece's nickname is Dolly.  See, she looked like one of those lettuce patch (or some vegetable with a head) kids when she was a baby.

Can't call the dog Dolly.

Scott watches a TV show called "Burn Notice" on Netflix.  One of the main characters is this tough but sweet little Irish cookie named, you guessed it, Fiona.  One of the other characters calls her "Fi (Fee) " so, Fi she is.

So far, it's a lot of " here puppy".

What to tell you about her?  She is eight months old. She weighs about forty pounds and probably wont get too much bigger.  She looks like a fuzzy German Shepherd puppy. She plays well with all of the dogs. She and WilmaKarmajane have been tearing up the floors since Wynne-Fi arrived.

She loves the kids. She is ok with the cats. They are fun toys that run.  She isn't what I would call housetrained by any definition but that wont take long to get that figured out.

Yesterday I picked her up and took her, WKJ and Te'a to Breakfast Club.  You gotta come, I'm telling you. We had a great time and the $3 donation always goes 100% to a local charity.  Next week is Elmbrook Humane Society near Brookfield.  Te'a and Hawk, one of our cats, are alumni of Elmbrook.

This week the charity was Pets Helping People.  They are a therapy dog organization that go to hospitals and the like.

So,  by now you'd probably like to see some pictures of our littlest girl, ja?

Ok, but you'd better look quick she's not gonna be here long.

Awww...
