Dear iwannahelpdoggies@gmail.com ...

I am very interested in joining you tomorrow at Central Bark Doggy Daycare in Sussex for Breakfast Club from 10a - 12noon.  I have the address as: W227 N6193 Sussex Rd., Sussex, WI. I understand I am invited to bring my dog (whether he is Fluffy or not) and the donation fee is $3 and will be given to Fluffy Dog Rescue at the end of the play session. I'm just not sure what to expect when I arrive at Central Bark.  Could you tell me more? Woof

Dear Woof - Central Bark Doggy Daycare is a place for humans to take their dogs during the week for some dog to dog play time.  It saves their couch from being chewed while the humans are working.  They are also available for boarding while the humans go to some sunny clime while it is six degrees and snowing in their area.

Breakfast Club is a Saturday morning play group for pups of all ages & sizes to play in the great warm indoors.  There is also an outdoor play area for doing things that should be done outside. There is a play area for both large and small dogs and the dogs are always supervised by Central Bark Staff to keep everybody safe. In the event of a puppy type accident, there are mops and scoopers on hand.

This week at Breakfast Club, yes, Fluffy Dog Rescue will be there.  I will speaking about the rescue, as well as Fluffy Dog Wellness.  Did you know that Fluffy Dog Wellness carries food, treats and all kinds of holistic care products for your pup? Lori will also deliver your dog's chow if you would like. There are food and products for other pet species, yes, cats, if you need.  Here is the website if you'd like a preview - http://www.fluffydog.net/.

I can understand your curiousity about what happens at play group.  I'm attaching some recent photos of a play group at another local Central Bark. These were taken on the "large dog" side of the playgroup as you will see.

Thank you for your question and I look forward to hopefully seeing you and your dog tomorrow morning.  I'll be wearing my burgundy sweatshirt with all the names of my fosters on it.  Yes, there are 27 dogs and I'm running out of room.  I'll have to get creative!

Thanks for reading.  Thank you for thinking rescue.

Giant Schnauzers and friends waiting to go outside

Some dogs get a little overwhelmed and may stand for a moment or two with the classic "deer in the headlights" look

Some dogs are really shy at first

Waiting to see who is coming in next

These are a Mastiff pup and a Weimaraner

There is usually a lot of running that occurs

There is playing

And stalking

There is time out for drinking and posing for pictures - even pictures with mystery tails in them?

There are sometimes dogs there with complementary names - In this case it is Copper and Topper.

Puppies try to achieve great things

There is interaction with all of the dogs.  Its a pretty big room so the flash doesnt reach the black doggies

There will be doggies you recognize

And some you dont...

If you fall down, this may be your view

There are dogs all over the room

Newfs like to play too!

Sometimes there is hide and go seek

Playing this hard can leave a dog quite exhausted

Towards the end of the playtime, things slow down a bit and the dogs dont play nearly as wildly

Dogs really slow down and need to take a breather

Hopefully when you get your dog home, she will be too tired to even take her coat off and just go right to sleep.
