Well, Furever Family, If you were waiting for the green light on General Enzo, Sir's stamina to be back up to relative normal for an almost 14 month old labrahound....DING!
This morning we went for our usual walk, roughly two miles. We even did a little leash training cuz' he's gonna rip my arms out of their sockets pretty soon otherwise. Though, on the upside, I can reach stuff in the cabinet on top of the fridge.
When we got home, I "released the hounds" from their leashes and all I saw of them for the next fifteen minutes was two black streaks and one brown one. Round and round the yard they ran, behind the camper, over the deck and back around the house again and again.
When my brother saw the first pictures of Enzo, he said he hoped that Te'a would run fast. Now that Enzo is pretty much back to "normal" as far as conditioning after his heartworm infirmity, he probably could have caught Te'a, if he really wanted to.
Te'a's fast. People at the dog park remark on "how fast that retriever is" to us all the time. When she is leading the pack in the merry "chase me" game around the yard/house/camper, she's smiling and laughing. After about fifteen minutes, they all came over to the door and wagged at me happily.
After a quick breakfast and a long drink and heartgard chewies, everybody is sacked out. Te'a and Enzo, the two black dogs, are laying on the black leather couch. Mocha is laying on the floor at my feet.
So there you have it, family. I'd say he's ready to go home. Are you ready for the sweetest Momma's boy you're ever gonna meet?
