Bittersweet Day.

Enzo's a sad boy. Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to see a dog go "home" but General Enzo, Sir is sad today because his little buddy, Pixie, now known as Xena, Warrior Puppy, has gone home.

Her mom already sent me a couple emails to let me know how Pixie Xena was settling in. She's met the neighbor's, she's taken care of business outside and she's been to the farmer's market. Pretty full days for a 10 week old pup.

I took the big doggies to the dog park for a little romp and run and we made some new friends. We got to meet a gorgeous, gorgeous Italian Spinone named Frodo today. He kind of looked like a longer, lankier Bearded Collie but he was more brown than white. The cool thing was that Frodo's dad is a race car driver and knew exactly who Enzo is named after. For those of you new to the blog, there is a character in a book called, "The Art of Racing in the Rain". The main character is a dog named Enzo after another character from the racing world named, Enzo Ferrari, you may have heard of him.

Oh, and speaking of Bearded Collies, we met up with (B)Ella and her family last week. I still have those pictures in my camera. I'll have to post those tomorrow.

Enzo with a big chocolate boy (front) and Mocha (behind).
Enzo was running, running, running today.

Enzo and Frodo. Frodo was even taller than our boy!

Here's a short little vid of our boy coming to mama! He's a real mama's boy, loves everybody but loves mama.

Maybe he needs a little 4 month old yellow lab puppy friend. Just put them on the petfinder site:)
