He likes Squeaky Toys AND The New Dogpark

Discovered last night that our pal, Zootee likes squeaky toys. He found a "Cuz" in the toy basket and terrorized the living daylights out of it. We took this as a good sign, noisy, but a good sign. He has really come out of his shell in the past two weeks.

He's got such a great personality and is so sweet to be around...My order from www.fosterandsmith.com came today. I had ordered some medicine for Mocha's little bladder control issue and also a new ball. After last night's surprise discovery of the joy of the Cuz, I thought that this might be fun too!

Fun it was!!

"Can't stop to pose - gotta play."

It was hot today!! Look at that tongue.

Te'a's got the ball - Keep away is a fun game!

What's that you say? You'd like to see the new ball in action? I think we can do that...
Lights! Camera! Action!!
Before it got super hot we went to the new dog park today. I forgot the camera at home but the dogs had a good time anyway. If you live in Western Waukesha County, take Hwy. 16 to Hwy. C. Take Hwy. C north to Nashotah Park. You'll need a Waukesha County pass to get in - If you get one now they are half price til the end of the year.
There is a large breed dog area and a small breed dog area, as well. Today there were a pair of samoyeds and a 4 mo. old puppy sammy, a great dane, a chocolate labradoodle (so gorgeous), a mixed variety of muttly types, a visla, a couple of yellow labbies, a gordon setter, and us. A good time was had by all!
Zootee got pretty excited when the Chocolate Labradoodle showed up. I got pretty excited when the chocolate labradoodle showed up. He was sooo gorgeous and he and Zootee played like best friends. He actually kind of looked like a Brown Portuguese Water Dog. (Don't tell my labradors but I secretly have wanted a PWD for a while but the puppies were a little more than my part-time job pocketbook could afford. I'll have to get my fix from other families who have them~wink~and cute curly brown doodles at the dog park.) I'm pretty sure that whatever type of canine playmate Zootee's furever family has, he'll fit in well.
And so friends, that wraps up today's post! Thanks for reading and thinking rescue. Please pass this along to all of your Fluffy Lovin' Friends so that we can find homes for them all!
Til next time! Woof!

Didn't know there was a doggie park there!

Kazoot looks so good! And it's so funny to see the 'blond' in with all those little dark doggies! I kinda know how he feels!
