New Pictures

New pictures of Shandy Chance for you to see and even a video, but first this:

Too silly - I just couldn't help myself.

I have no new news to share with you. I was sick all weekend and just laid around. Chance still remains non-growly. He and Te'a play whenever they are out of their crates. The reason for the no dogs posting on his Fluffy Dog page is that he still has some issues, I think insecurity, with dogs and food and dogs of other sizes. My brother is leaving his dog here for a few days while he and his wife jet off to Vegas, baby, to celebrate her big 4-0!!

Hopefully things will go smoothly and Chance will gain a new understanding for family. And, understand that just because you're a little freaked out is no reason to growl and carry on.

But speaking of family....Chance loves kids! More specifically, Chance loves BOYS! We carpool with three other families who have fifth grade boys. When I drive I take at least one dog with me - sometimes I take all three and that results in much hilarity while the boys and the dogs play musical chairs.

Today was no exception. I only took Chance with me. He managed to get in before Connor did and claimed "shotgun" as his own. There was some discussion and pleading on Connor's part but they came to an agreement where-in Chance would ride on the console between the front seats. After the fifth grade boys got in the back, there was some giggling and pointing and commenting that "lucky it is not a stick shift car." Chance is a boy dog, he was facing backwards...if I have to explain it to you it just won't be funny.

As we drove to pick up the fourth boy, the two in the back came up front and started lovin' on our pal Chance. His little tail was a waggin'. When the boys disembarked at school, Chance watched them all go in and rode with his head on the door all the way home. Even after we got in the garage, he still didn't move. He was just so sad to see his boys go.

Chance was sooo happy when Connor got home from school. Perhaps it was because I, Evil Queen Mother, gave him a trim to fix up his ears and neck. (He's not a huge fan of the brush and he had a pretty good sized mat starting under his chin.

Thank Goodness you're home. She took off my collar and cut my hair, again...

Here are some snaps from this afternoon.

Te'a was helping me take pictures...sorry about the blur. Banyan Boy hard at rest...

Here's Chance laughing at Te'a. Ha ha - you're sooo funny...

I wasn't laughing. Got the wrong guy.

And, just because you haven't seen a video for a while, here's a little tug-o-war video. Notice how Chance never leaves the rug. He hasnt' quite figured out how to hold his ground on the laminate floor yet.

Well, that's all I have for today. Oh, I do have news. Chance is free of his little heart worm buggies so he is free to tear around at act all crazy and run and stuff. Perhaps this weekend if it's nice we'll go to the Minooka Park and turn him loose. I'll let you know, maybe you can meet us there!
