His name is Chase and he's roughly 8 mos. or so old - no one knows quite for sure. He's in PERFECT health. He is, to everyone's rough estimation a mix between a Labrador and a Border Collie. So maybe he'll even like the water. He stays in the yard, well, so far.
When we left to go to that orange chain super hardware store, I said, "Kennel up." Mocha ran to her crate. Te'a bounced in that general direction and little Chasey went right in his and sat down.
I gave him a treat and he has the softest mouth.
Are ya dyin' to see him yet?
He's just a teensy bit smaller than Te'a. He's got the cutest little ears and the darkest, dark brown eyes. Come on, you haven't filled out your application yet?? He's puppyish and wary of the cats, but then we've only had him since noon. But Lisa, the previous foster mom, tells me that he left their cats alone at their home. Oh, and the only reason Lisa and her family gave Chase up is because they have three big dogs AND four cats, AND a parrot AND two kids AND their own business and just don't have the time to commit to puppy training. Furever Family, I know you could do that. He is however, housetrained, So Furever Family, you wouldn't have to do that. Lisa, and Family, thank you for doing such a wonderful job with him. He is gentle, loving, doesn't jump up and he has been so well loved and snuggled.
He's all black except for this cool diamond blaze on his chest with a white line that runs down to his little puppy belly button. Scott says it's where he's put together - a seam if you will. He also has a pair of teeny little socks on his front paws. Come on, get your pen. Except for the white, and the fact that he's boy dog, he looks a lot like a young Jessie, my brother's dog.
We've been for a walk and once we Cesar Milan'd him (Furever family, we can explain that to you you when you get here, just get here!), he walked like a dream.
Oh, and those of you who have kiddlies who are begging you for a dog, as long as your kids are over six, this is your dog. He love, love, love, loves kids! He and Kiera are outside as I type and she's...um...encouraging his...er...um...bowels by walking around the yard.
Within being here a mere three hours and having been teased once or twice by a naughty grey cat, he and Te'a discovered that they had a common enemy and soon gave chase to the feline in question. Of course they didn't catch him but they discovered that they both love to play and they proceeded to destroy today's paper. Sigh...
Ok, so I guess I've teased you enough. If you're sure you're ready to see him... Really ready? But I mean it, once these pictures get out, he's not gonna be here long. This boy is ADORABLE AND HE NEEDS his furever home.

Isn't he cute?? Did you fill out your application NOW?
