Phew - Back to Relative Normal

After last nights big outing at LA Grooming in Downtown Hartland and a good night sleep, Chase is back to his old self. He ate a little breakfast, snuck up on the bed for some mama time and wonder of all wonders - did not vomit at five this morning. He's had a busy couple a days.

He helped me plant some hostas that we bought from the Hosta Guy, Marshall over in Meno Falls, he helped me pull some weeds and when he wasn't helping me he was hanging out in the yard with the neighborhood kids. It's a zoo out there today - YIKES. (If you want some awesome hosta, send me an email and I'll send you Marshall's address and sale dates - he has over 250 different varieties in his yard.)

He is even back to playing with Te'a and being quite puppyish an investigatory with the cats...if you know what I mean. Since I know Lori loves video...Here's a little ditty from this morning:

Thanks to all the great people who stopped by LA Grooming and Pet Services in Downtown Hartland. If you've got a Fluffy who needs a cutty, you should stop by and see these nice folks. They are located at 303 Cottonwood, Hartland. Here are some pics of the pups.

This is Phoenix. Hello? Can you say super adorable and lovey? He is about 70 pounds of six month old puppy. He is a, ready for this? He is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Now, I'm probably about to offend some of our readers but we here in da nort' ain't never seen no redneck dog like thisun befores. Is he not the more gorgeous creature? Check out his markings down his back. He is super lovey and oh, so soft. I'm tellin' you Fluffy Friends, If I didn't already have two of my own...this boy would be in my house. He looks kind of like a sand colored lab that somebody threw black paint at. Seriously... somebody should snap this boy up!

I didn't get any good pics of Chase. I think he was a wee bit overwhelmed by the whole production. He hadn't eaten since Tuesday morn, he was at a new house with a new schedule and there were dogs and people everywhere! When people pet him he was usual lovey self and curled right into their hands. But everyone who met him said he was a perfect dog. He is super mellow for only being eight months old (as of May 15), he has got the cutest markings, and he's oh so cuddly. Seriously, cannot believe this dog is still with a foster family. Did I mention he's housetrained and smarter than any dog ought to be? Ok, so he gets a little nervous when he changes locales, but then who doesn't. I wish I could stop eating like that when I get nervous. No, not me, I just eat MORE!!

On another note about Chase.... We're also thinking that there may be more than just Labrador and Border Collie in his lineage. Looking at his oh so slender back hips, I'm thinking that maybe there might be some sort of Greyhound in there. I don't know and honestly, I really don't care, he's so sweet and wonderful. Whatever it is, it's a good mix. He's mellow and gentle and doesn't eat your fingers when you hand him a treat. Come on, did you fill out your application yet? The link is in the upper right hand corner of this blog... It says - Fluffy Dog Application...It'll take you right to the application.

I got an email from Lori, Our Fluffy Dog Director, this morning and she said to spread the word that Fluffy Dog Rescue is going to be FULL to more than capacity come next Sunday. We will have 45 dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors, ages and descriptions available for adoption. If you are looking for a dog or know two or ten people who are looking for a dog, send them our way.

Ok, that's all I have for now... I've got to feed the doggies as I can hear Chase's little puppy tummy growling next to me. Plus my tummy's gettin' a little rumbly too!

Thanks for thinking adoption and reading the blog. Please pass it along to anyone you know who is looking for a sweet, loving dog who is housetrained and retrieves and who could probably do agility if you asked him once or twice.

Have a great day!
