Jack has been puddle free in the house for three days! Hasta la Vista Niagra Boy! Jack finally understands that he cannot go potty in the house! He stands or sits by the door and hangs out there 'til someone takes him out.
He's also getting much less afraid of the vaccuum cleaner; although, I have to admit, I am concerned that he may pee on that just to show it who is boss. But that is a whole other issue.
A lot of people have been asking what type of dog Jack is. I've been answering that he is a terrier mix and describing the mix as Wheaten and Wire Fox Terriers. Today I decided to do a little Googly research on the two breeds as the only dog breed I knew of before Jack was Labrador Retrievers - Black, Brown, Yellow, Fox Red, Charcoal, & Silver (very rare).

In the green chair is a Wheaten Terrier. Ok - soft coat, fluffy, curly, shaggy beardy face. General cuddly factor.

This is a Wire Fox Terrier. He's got a little closer haircut but still fluffy, similar coloring. Also exceptional cuddle factor. He has dark dark eyes and a black nose. The guy in the chair has a lighter colored nose.

Well, it is a little to clearer to me, I suppose what breed variety he is. That which is abolutely clear to me is that Jack is loving, cuddly, sweet, sweet, sweet, very, very smart, very trainable, he is a retriever, gives good hugs and very slobbery kisses, oh, and most importantly, HE IS HOUSETRAINED!! i hope.
oh-mi-goodness!!
