Hi - I'm Carter!! I'm the Fluffy Dog who was living with my buddy Missy in Rural Missouri. I had mange, both kinds, but now I am completely healed. My fur is soooo thick and I need that for these crazy, snowy Wisconsin winters - brrr. However, like all the Southern dogs, I don't really know what it is, but I LOVE the snow! Sometimes my mom has to bribe me with hugs and kisses to come in the house.
I am housetrained. I also am free to roam the house while my family is gone. My foster sisters are not as lucky. I get to roam the yard when we go outside to play or take care of business. I come in when I am called and I'm a very good boy. I play nicely with all doggies and kitties. I don't understand the kitties but I'd like to play with them. I don't chase - we live together in harmony.
I am super sweet. I like to wrap my paws around your waist and give you hugs. I'm also pretty good at kisses!! I lay with Mom and Dad at bedtime but I get too hot in the bed and jump down and sleep in my own bed on the floor.
My fur has grown back very nicely and Mom thinks that because of my sweet attitude, I am part labrador part golden retriever. My family had some friends over to watch the Packers crush the Bears (hee hee) and even with all the yelling and screaming, I just laid on the momma's lap. She said she would have taken me home too but she's got a golden retreiver named Mickey who probably wouldn't enjoy having a younger boy around.
I am very mellow for being such a young boy. Of course I have puppy energy and I like to run with my tail to the ground and tear up the snow but then I come inside and lay on my bed. I don't eat shoes or stuff I'm not supposed to.
