Zootee Goes Home...HOORAY!

In Grade Lodge Tradition, we honor Zoot with the Customary Going Home NOOGIE!

There, whew, glad I got that out of my system...

And, for those of you who'd like to know, Zoot went home with a family with another standard poodle named Jesse. They live near Milwaukee in a very Poodle-licious house. The mom told me that they have poodle pictures, poodle knick-knacks and a poodle clock. Here he will be loved and spoiled in true "pood" fashion.

Yesterday morning I received a message from his mom who said he was doing great, been eating and all that regular stuff. She also sent a picture of how they were already spoiling him....

Aww...

Now before he left he tried to eat the cat one last time. Or...did he?

See the prey driven posture? Yes, I'm pretty sure that he has designs for that cat that involve chasing and chomping. Or do they? What's that the cat is sitting on? Looks like...like...like a book. Let's zoom in and see the title.

Oh, well, that explains everything. She was trying to train the dog. Well, there ya go Fluffy Fans - dogs and cats living together in harmony and an educational atmosphere. Who knew?

So, coming tonight, at midnight, is our next foster - Lori has named her Delilah as she doesn't even have a name. And if she doesn't have a name, do you suppose someone actually took the time to keep her looking as beautiful as the dog in the picture? No, me neither. Truth be told, Fluffy Fans, I'm expecting, in my head, a shaved beast that is neither housetrained nor manner trained. All the long flowing hair will have to grow in after she moves in with her furever family.

Thanks for reading!

PS - 530pm - She does have a name and it's Gidget. Hmmmm
PPS - They have been shaved.

Wow, a cat that can read. I'm VERY, VERY impressed... did you teach her in your spare time or did she just pick up by herself?
