Hi all -
I'm stuck inside on this cold and rainy day so while Mom is off doing whatever she does when she's not here (hope she's buying dog bones), I had Mocha spring the lock on my kennel and I ran up here and jumped on the computer before she gets back.
I have to tell my "tail" of torture.
When Mom left this morning she had a whole list of places to go to: drop Kiera off at school, go to the orthodontist, the grocery store and the library.
When she came back she had new Easter colored rubberbands on her braces, groceries and a crazed, glazed look her eyes. We were scared to say the least. She had a CD in her hand and she was dancing around like some sort of 80's maniac. Dare I say, she looked like some sort of, Oh, I don't know, killer...thriller...zombie.
That's right Fluffy Friends, my mom was a high school kid when The Gloved One was Cool. As opposed to what he is now which is downright freaky...
I don't think you can truly appreciate what I've been through unless you go there yourself....so for all those of you who have a longing for the 80's dance madness on this dreary Tuesday afternoon...without further adieu...Thriller http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Xs9OQHpwDE
Ok - so maybe it isn't that bad here at the Lodge. I've got to tell you tho, I'd be real happy with a boy or two or a girl of my own. Cats are ok too. Another dog...well...probably but if not that's ok too.
When my family goes away Mom says "Kennel Up" and we go dashing for our crates. Dashing might not be the right word because there is laminate here on the floor at the Lodge and it's a bit zippy for us with long toenails.
I take treats oh, so nice and at night I sleep in the bathroom or wherever. Sometimes I sleep with Mom and Dad for five or ten minutes but I get too hot on the bed and jump down to go lay next to the bathtub. Aaaah - cool.
I need a walk every day. More if you have time. See, I'm a pretty smart guy and I get myself into trouble if I'm bored. Nothin' worse than a smart bored dog - no way.
More than anything I love to be loved. Mom thinks I've had another "AHA" moment this week. When she checks emails in the morning, I like to come in and sit on her lap. hee hee I weigh 60 pounds - hee hee I'm a lapful. I especially love it when she hums "rock-a-bye baby to me."
I had no idea families could be so wonderful!
If you think your family could love a dog who lately has been subjected to Michael Jackson's "Thriller", you'd better "Beat It" to the top of this page and fill out an application with my name, Shandy, on it.
Woof
