A while back I posted that we had free, free, free baby Convict Ciclids - I even created a ridiculous video set to music - Da Yoopers, I believe - I got Judy hooked on 'em at any rate.
People, our parental Ciclid Accidental Breeding pair just had another "batch-o-fry" - we're running out of room in there.
If you have ever had an interest in Ciclid's or having a fish tank at all, now's your chance. Ciclids are fish from South America and come in many, many vibrant colors, metallic blues, bright greens and knock-your-socks off oranges and yellows.
In order to get these fabulous fish, you have to start your aquarium off with hearty starter fish. You keep the starter fish alone for a few weeks and if after that they don't die, you can progress to the more elegant fish.
Here is Dad...about 3 1/2" to 4"
Here is Mom - she's about two inches long.
Here are the new babies...they are pinhead sized.
Here are some of the first batch fish...they are about an inch long.
Sorry about the quality of the pics. You can't really train fish to "stay". Seriously, don't you want to start an aquarium...yesterday?

Gee, I'd love more fish but one, they're too noisy and two, I'm spending all my free time and money trying to complete my Yooper collection and couldn't possibly take care of them properly.
Sorry,
Judy
