Back to the Dog Park

Hello Fluffy Fans!
I 've got some new news to share today. Today was a day of firsts for our pal Chancey. We went back to the dog park at Minooka and since Chance is free and clear of his heartworms, he was allowed to run free!! An even bigger bonus was that there was nobody but us there so I didn't have to worry if he was going to eat anybody.
To see him run...he was soooooooooo happy. First he kind of trotted around and when he had marked every single fencepost and garbage can, he took off like a shot. Zoom right! Dash left! Round and round and round the hill. He even teased Mocha and Te'a a little bit but then ran right out.

When he got that out of his system, he came back to me!! Hooray!!
Another first was that he got to play in good ol' fashion' Wisconsin dirt. Well...not so much dirt after our rather snowy winter....good ol' Wisconsin mud. Sad to say I forgot my camera in the car in all the commotion and neglected to get some really good shots of him running and him (and the non-fluffies) covered in mud.

I did take a couple shots in the car at at stoplight - you'll notice that my car seats are covered with towels....

After we got home there was noo waay I was letting those filthy beasts in my house. So, Chance got another first here - a lovely bath. I've never had a long haired dog before and didn't want to deal with tangles so I conditioned him too! Too bad these blogs aren't scratch and sniff - he smells yummy! When he was soaking, dripping wet and not fluffy at all, it became very clear what his main breed is. From the shape of his head and based on pics I've seen, he is definitely beardie.

Iz gud boy!!

In between washing our very cute Fluffy Doggie and the smooth doggies, I had to run to school and have lunch with Kiera. After I got back, Chance had had a chance to dry a little bit and OH-MI-GOSH is he curly!

And so Fluffy Fans, that's what's happening around here. A little run at the muddy park followed up by a bath and a nap. We've got all the bugs worked out for you, he's all yours to take home and love furever!

Woof!

I'm a fluffy fan; but even bigger fan of that little chocolate thunder you are watching for your favorite cousins. I bet they really miss her and would love to see some pics and hear how she is!
