New Toy Alert!!!

Get ready dog people! We have a new dog toy that is bound to keep your doggie entertained for a spell - or at least until the treats run out! It's called the Buster Dog Food Cube.

We saw it at a local pet store, thought it was cool but then thought it was a bit pricey at $25. Went to a friend's house, discovered they had one for their super chewer and that it was barely nicked up. It was then and there I realized we needed one for our Fluffy Dogs and not so Fluffy Dogs here at the Lodge.

We bought ours at one of the chain stores in Brookfield over the weekend. It's that one across Bluemound Road from the Brookfield Square Mall. No, not the one in the parking lot of the Mall but across the street. If you go, you'll figure it out.

Brought it home, filled it with kibble and let Mocha have at it. Other than chasing deer thru our neighbors back yard, I've never seen this dog so focused.

Here's a little video ditty for you.

Meanwhile, we continue to work with Chance on the "ack - not in the house" stuff. Just got to get him past going on the snow. It's coming along. We've been praising him up and down when he goes in the snow, whether its working or not...well...time will tell.

His "groomed to the max" haircut is starting to grow out a bit more. His body and tail are filling out. His tail is wavy curly-ish. Ya gotta wonder what he is mixed with. Portuguese Water Dog maybe? The eye color would be right. Porties do come in "parti" flavors - not to be confused with party favors. Hmmm....

Also, Chance rides really well in the car. I took him with me yesterday when I took the kids to school and as I've mentioned before, he likes to ride on the floor in the front seat. Dear future adopter, I'm sorry to say, but we've wrecked him there for you.

After the kids got out he helped himself to the passenger seat, you know, shot-gun (well, he IS from Texas). Apparently he doesn't think much of hard rock 80's music I like, (he IS from Texas) - here he is showing his opinion about my choice of music.

Maybe tomorrow we'll try a little Patsy Cline. George Straight? Toby Keith? It has to be Allen Jackson! (I'm not a big Rascal Flatts Fan)

Just to keep everybody updated...I'm going to start including some bios on some other doggies available for adoption from Fluffy Dog. Coming soon, but probably not til Friday, Bandit.

Thanks for reading!

You know the dishwasher box adds ambiance to the inside of the house as well. I'm thinking that if you brought the lawnmower in a parked it along side, you'd complete the 'look'.
