We are trying Bridget's recommendation of food devaluation in an effort to get Chancey past his Resource Guarding issues. I'm expecting miracles - I mean come on, its been three days already, isn't it fixed yet?

We did have a slip up today wherein he tried to eat Mo when she tried to sniff my coffee and cheese danish in the car. Yikes! (I'm starting to think that is a normal sound) My fault. I'll remember better next time.
I just keep thinking that this will all work out and he'll be able to go on to a family or a man or woman with another dog so they can spend their free time playing together because he does love other dogs. It is the food thing that is the HUGE thing. I guess I just hate to see his chances for adoption limited because of this.
He's a wonderful dog and smart as a whip. We're working on some surprises for all of you for later on!! (Yeah, like not eating the other dogs when we bring dog food in the house.)
So dear readers, if you want a lovable, extra cuddly, smart and oh so cute dog for your single dog household, here is your boy. However....if you already have a dog...you may want to think about somebody else. For a while anyway...maybe we can fix his bad boy issues.
