Idolmania?? No, no noone here is into worshipping doggies although I am on my hands and knees an awful lot behind them - hmmmmmmmmmm.


Ok, getting back on track. If you are looking for something to do on a cold January weekend, come on out to Oconomowoc. My friend Brooklynn - http://www.brooklynnmusic.com/ - is performing in a little something called..."Idolmainia".

It is "Idol-MAIN-ia" because it is being held at Theatre on the Main in beautiful downtown Cooney. Here is the blurb I swiped from the website..


Idol Mainia of Oconomowoc Continues on Friday, Jan. 16th!Click here to see who will be moving to Round 2! Come and see local, talented youth, ages 7 to 18, as they compete to see who will be the winner of this year’s Idol Mainia, A Geordie A Markham Memorial Event made possible through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. We have both experienced performers and children that are singing in front of a large audience for the first time. Bring the family to cheer on these young singers as they entertain us with their favorite tunes! Round one will be January 6th and 7th. Join us again next week to see returning participants in Round 2 on Friday, January 16th. Come for the finale, on January 17th when the last 12 contestants try to earn the honor of being this year’s winners of Idol Mainia and the recipient of the $1000 Grand Prize! Shows begin at 7. Doors open to the public at 6:30. Tickets available at Fox Brothers Piggly Wiggly in Hartland and Oconomowoc. .
